Northwest Tech takes special pride in its athletic facilities and their contribution to the continued success of Maverick student-athletes.
WRESTLING
Dr. Guy E. Mills Athletic and Academic Center
Opened in February 2014, the Dr. Guy E. Mills Athletic and Academic Center serves as the practice facilities for the men's wrestling team and holds classrooms for the campus Crime Scene Investigation program. It also holds locker rooms and an athletic training area complete with sauna.
TRACK & FIELD
Goodland Community Track and Field
Northwest Tech's Track and Field teams practice and compete at the Goodland Community Track, located in the college's own backyard, directly north of campus.
BASKETBALL, DANCE, GENERAL ATHLETICS
Larry Keirns Fitness Center
The Larry Keirns Fitness Center, Northwest Tech’s on-campus fitness center, includes: a basketball court, racquetball courts, locker rooms, a lounge area with pool table, cable TVs, and a weight room stocked with cardio equipment, weight machines, and free weights.
The Keirns Fitness Center serves as a practice facility for the basketball teams as well as the Maverick Dancers. Additionally, elective courses such as weight training are taught here.
SOCCER
Lutters Field
Lutters Field, located directly east of the Larry Keirns Fitness Center on the Northwest Tech campus, serves as the practice and competition field for the Maverick's men and women's soccer teams.
BASKETBALL
Max L. Jones Fieldhouse
The Maverick basketball teams play home games at the Max L. Jones Fieldhouse, located one block west of the Northwest Tech campus.
CROSS COUNTRY
Sugar Hills Golf Course
The Maverick Cross Country team utilize the Sugar Hills Golf Course for practice and competition.
